LNG Shipping

The vessel was built by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering and was delivered on 2 August.

Keppel O&M has successfully delivered the first of two new-build LNG-fuelled containerships to Pasha Hawaii, a shipping and logistics company in the US.

The tanker is owned by Total Gas & Power Chartering and had completed more than 36 000 operating hours.

The tanker will run on LNG/LBG and will be built at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard in Yangzhou, China.

The companies have signed an MoU with the aim of establishing LNG bunkering services in Egypt Mediterranean, the Suez Canal, and the Red Sea.

As part of the agreement, the companies will develop the Lakach deepwater natural gas field which NFE will use to produce LNG for global export.

The order, which was received in 2Q22, was for the tank design of three new LNG carriers.

Up to 7.5 billion m3/y of natural gas are to be handled via this terminal as quickly as possible. This is approximately 8.5% of Germany’s current gas demand per year.

The new time charter agreements are for three of Flex LNG’s LNG carriers.

The agreement includes a multi-year LNG supply agreement to CMA CGM’s 13 000 20-ft equivalent unit vessels in Port of Singapore.

Wärtsilä systems will be installed on eight new LNG carrier vessels being built for Knutsen OAS.

MAN Energy Solutions will retrofit the main engine of a Matson Navigation container ship, meaning the ship can run on LNG and fuel oil.

The company has changed its name from Titan LNG to Titan.

The auctions were for the allocation of the continuous regasification capacity, in relation to multi-year allocation processes with expression of interest, concerning gas year from 2022/2023 to gas year 2032/2033.

The three-year agreement is for supply of up to 40 000 tpy of LNG as marine fuel.
