Cheniere announces positive FID on Corpus Christi Midscale Trains 8 & 9

Cheniere Energy, Inc. has made a positive final investment decision with respect to the Corpus Christi Midscale Trains 8 & 9 and debottlenecking project and has issued full notice to proceed to Bechtel Energy, Inc. for construction of CCL Midscale Trains 8 & 9.

 
 

Glenfarne and PTT sign co-operation agreement

Glenfarne Alaska LNG, LLC has announced that PTT Public Company Ltd has signed a co-operation agreement for strategic participation in the Alaska LNG project, including for the procurement of 2 million tpy of LNG from Alaska LNG over a 20-year term.

 

Golar provides commercial operations date

Golar LNG Ltd have announced that FLNG Gimi has reached the commercial operations date for its 20-year lease and operate agreement for the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim project offshore Mauritania and Senegal.

 
 
 

Woodside and PETRONAS eye long-term LNG supply

Woodside Energy and PETRONAS, through its subsidiary PETRONAS LNG Ltd, have signed a non-binding heads of agreement for the supply of 1 million tpy of LNG to Malaysia from 2028 for a period of 15 years.

 

Barossa LNG FPSO arrives in field

Santos has announced the arrival of the BW Opal FPSO vessel at the Barossa gas field approximately 285 km north of Darwin.
