QatarEnergy to start NFE train by mid-2026

QatarEnergy will more than double LNG production from current 77 million t to 160 million, including production from Golden Pass LNG project in Texas, which will come online later in 2025, says Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs and President and CEO of QatarEnergy.

 
 

Oman LNG and Vitol sign term SPA

Oman LNG has signed a term sale and purchase agreement with Vitol to supply LNG on a DES flexible basis from January 2026.

 

Woodside and Aramco sign collaboration agreement

Woodside Energy Ltd and Aramco have entered into a non-binding collaboration agreement to explore global opportunities, including Aramco’s potential acquisition of an equity interest in and LNG offtake from the Louisiana LNG project.

 
 
 
 

Woodfibre provides construction update

Construction continues to advance at the Woodfibre LNG site, including work on foundations for the LNG processing equipment and modules that are expected to begin arriving at site in 2025.
