Floating LNG

Gasgrid Finland and Fortum have signed an agreement to place the FSRU in Fortum’s port in Inkoo, Finland.

The JV has been named Energos Infrastructure (Energos), and is owned approximately 80% by Apollo-managed funds and 20% by NFE.

EXMAR has announced that it has signed an agreement with Eni for the sale of the Tango FLNG.

The companies have signed an MoU with the aim of establishing LNG bunkering services in Egypt Mediterranean, the Suez Canal, and the Red Sea.

Stade will be the site of one of the four floating LNG terminals – so-called FSRUs – chartered by the Federal Government of Germany.

The project will see Twenty20 Energy replace aging diesel-based generation with high LNG and heat recovery-based generation in 12 locations around the country.

BW Singapore, built in 2015, has a maximum storage capacity of approximately 170 000 m3 of LNG and a nominal continuous regasification capacity of approximately 5 billion m3/y.

Up to 7.5 billion m3/y of natural gas are to be handled via this terminal as quickly as possible. This is approximately 8.5% of Germany’s current gas demand per year.

The new LNG import terminal, named Golar Tundra, will help safeguard Italy’s energy security and diversification.

Crux will provide further supplies of natural gas to the existing Prelude floating LNG (FLNG) facility.
