The companies have entered into a Heads of Agreement for the purchase of approximately 3 million tpy of LNG delivered FOB from Sempra Infrastructure’s portfolio of LNG projects.

The delivery of approximately 65 000 t of LNG is a step towards further integration of gas markets and strengthening of energy security in Europe.

NFE’s application proposes the ownership, construction, operation, and eventual decommissioning of an offshore natural gas deep-water port in the US Gulf of Mexico.

TotalEnergies has signed the agreement with Sempra Infrastructure, Mitsui & Co. Ltd, and Japan LNG Investment for the expansion of the Cameron LNG production and export facility, located Louisiana, US.
