Milbank have advised OMERS Infrastructure in sale of joint stake in GNL Quintero, the largest LNG terminal in Chile.

The companies will jointly acquire an 80% equity stake in GNL Quintero S.A. an LNG regasification terminal in Chile.

New Fortress Energy will supply natural gas from its Barcarena LNG terminal to Norsk Hydro’s Alunorte Alumina Refinery in Pará, Brazil.

The company started natural gas deliveries to the Brazilian market at the Bahia Regasification Terminal in Salvador, Bahia, on 8 December.

The company will construct a turnkey combined cycle power plant for an integrated LNG-to-power project at Port of Açu, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Since the GNA LNG-to-power project launched commercial operations, KN has become an operator of two fully operational LNG terminals.

The company has acquired a 49.9% stake in AES Colón from Inversiones Bahia, Ltd., increasing its ownership to 100%.

The project’s first power plant, located at Port of Açu, Brazil, has begun commercial operations.

The two companies have worked together to build Chile’s first LNG service station.

NFE is to supply the Alunorte Alumina Refinery in Pará, Brazil, with natural gas.
