According to Reuters, in February this year, Russia delivered a record amount of LNG to Europe: 1.41 million t, to be precise.

Reportedly, these 19 cargoes were delivered from the Yamal LNG plant to a number of regasification terminals in Europe, mostly in the northwest region of the continent. In turn, Russia became the largest supplier of LNG to Europe for the first time, overtaking Qatar, Nigeria and Algeria, as well as the US.

According to Reuters, this signifies the largest monthly amount of LNG delivered from the Siberian facility since plant operations began in December 2017.
