Total sells interest in Fos Cavaou regasification terminal

Total has announced that it has divested its 27.5% interest in Fosmax LNG – the operator of the Fos Cavaou LNG terminal – as a result of a competitive sale process to Elengy, Fosmax LNG’s shareholder with a 72.5% stake, that exercised its pre-emption right.

 
 
 

LNG will be oversupplied until mid-2020

Eni and Tatweer Petroleum sign LNG MoU

Eni has announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Bahrain’s Tatweer Petroleum to collaborate in the energy sector.

 
 

Prelude halts LNG production

According to Reuters, Royal Dutch Shell has temporarily halted production at the Prelude floating LNG facility due to an electrical trip on 2 February.
