According to the US Energy Information Administration, June’s LNG exports averaged a 1.5 billion ft3/d decline from May due to the Freeport LNG outage.

ION Commodities will manage Golden Pass LNG’s physical and financial natural gas and LNG portfolio needs.

Following the Freeport outage, the US Energy Information Administration expects US LNG exports to fall by 6%.

Under the 20-year Sales and Purchase Agreement, China Gas will purchase 1.0 million tpy of LNG from NextDecade’s Rio Grande LNG export project in Brownsville, Texas, US.

The company estimates that partial liquefaction operations to will be resumed in early October 2022.

Wood will deliver owner’s engineering services for the Cameron LNG expansion project in Louisiana, US.

The companies have signed a Sales and Purchase Agreements for the purchase of 2 million tpy of LNG for 20 years.
