The vessel, YariLNG, loaded at Sabine Pass LNG liquefaction terminal and is expected to deliver its cargo to the South Hook LNG Terminal on 31 October. According to the statement, South Hook Gas Co. Ltd (South Hook Gas) will make available terminal capacity rights to regasify Vitol's LNG cargo and deliver its gas into the UK natural gas grid.
Vitol claims that this demonstrates the drive and ability of South Hook Gas, with the support of its shareholders, affiliates of Qatar Petroleum and ExxonMobil, to help diversify the supply of LNG into the UK market, whilst increasing the utilisation of the facility's import capacity.
