Enarsa awards majority of LNG tender to Trafigura

According to Reuters, Enarsa, the Argentinian state-run energy company, has awarded the majority of its LNG tender to Trafigura.

The 16 cargo tender was launched in January 2017. Trafigura has reportedly agreed to provide 11 of these cargoes, whilst Glencore will provide three, and Cheniere will provide two.

Reuters reports that the cargoes are for delivery between April and August 2017.

EIA: US natural gas exports to grow nearly 30% by 2027 as LNG facilities ramp up

The U.S. Energy Information Administration’s latest Short-Term Energy Outlook forecasts that US LNG exports will continue to increase as five LNG export projects start operations and ramp up production by the end of 2027.
