The 5 million tpy import facility was commissioned earlier this year, and is located near Chennai in southern India. Reuters reports that Indian Oil Corp. is now seeking bids for the short-term lease for LNG unloading, storage and reloading services at the facility.
According to Reuters, the contract period will be two years commencing on the date that the agreement is reached. Tenders are reportedly being invited in a single-stage two-bid system. The first part is the commercial bid, whilst the second part is the price bid. All bids are due by 15 July 2019.
