LNG Industry,
Reuters is reporting that Asian LNG spot prices have continued their steady decline, reaching a 17 month low. The market continues to move away from peak winter demand in the region and stockpiled inventories remain largely intact.
Asian LNG spot prices for delivery in March are reportedly now US$6.50 per million Btu, down another 20 cents from the last reported levels. This is the lowest prices have fallen since 8 September 2017.
Industry experts are forecasting a continuation of this decline, with April spot prices currently estimated to be around US$6.30 per million Btu.
