CNPC wins China Patent Gold and Silver Awards

Five patents from CNPC were among the winners of the 21st China Patent Award recently announced by China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA).
Among them, ‘A Logging Method and Tool for Rock Brittleness’ and ‘A Method for Locating the Source of High-mature Condensate Oil’ won the Gold and Silver Award respectively. The other three Excellence-Award-winning patents went to ‘Improved Process for Making Acrylic Acid Through Two-step Propylene Oxygenation’, ‘PX Oxidation Reactor for Producing Terephthalic Acid’, and ‘Cold Circulating System for Unloading Pipeline at LNG Terminals’.
Altogether 30 China Patent Gold Awards, 58 Silver Awards, and 696 Excellence Awards were granted.
The China Patent Award is co-organised by CNIPA and World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) of the United Nations, and is recognised by the latter.
