Centrica agrees LNG supply contract with Cheniere

Reuters is reporting that the UK utility Centrica has agreed a long-term LNG supply deal with Cheniere.

Under the 20-year contact, Cheniere will supply Centrica with approximately 1.75 million tpy of LNG.

The cargoes will be produced and shipped from Train 5 of the Sabine Pass LNG facility, on a free-on-board (FOB) basis.

The first cargo is currently on its waty to Europe aboard the Gaslog Skagen.
