Venture Global LNG hires marketing expert

The wholly-owned subsidiary of Venture global LNG Inc. - VG LNG Marketing LLC – has announced that it has hired energy marketing expert, Dr Alexander Schreyer.

Based in Germany, Dr Schreyer will have a particular focus on potential LNG buyers in Europe.

Dr Schreyer has ten years of trading and commodity sales experience in the European energy industry. He most recently served as Senior Business Developer LNG at E.ON Global Commodities SE, where he was responsible for the procurement of LNG from the US. He also contributed to the development of a dedicated LNG-to-power strategy by creating strategic partnerships with engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) providers, as well as O&M contractors and feed gas providers. Dr Schreyer was responsible for structuring and negotiating long-term sales and purchase transactions of LNG.
