Reuters is reporting that Asian LNG spot prices for February delivery decreased this week due to ample supply, however losses were mitigated as companies in India have been buying up cargoes to meet spot demand.

According to industry sources, the latest price estimate for an Asian LNG spot cargo with a February delivery date is approximately US$5.45 per million Btu. This is five cents less than estimate for the previous week.
