Gazprom claims Russian gas is not being displaced by US LNG in Europe

According to Reuters, Gazprom has stated that Russian gas is not currently being replaced in European markets with US LNG.

Reuters reports that the US has established itself as the fastest-growing LNG exporter in the world.

Reuters also notes that the US is set to become the third-largest shipper of LNG in the world this year. This is due to increasing output from US shale fields.
