KN releases its latest LNG activity and revenue results

AB Klaipedos Nafta (KN) has released preliminary LNG activity and revenue results for December and 2018.
In December 2018, KN’s LNG terminal regasified and reloaded 544 000 MWh of natural gas. In the same period of 2017 458 000 MWh were reloaded. During 2018, the company in total regasified and reloaded 9.19 million MWh of natural gas (2017 – 12.64 million MWh).
The preliminary sales revenue of the company’s LNG terminal for December 2018 comprised €5.3 million (December 2017 – €5.5 million; a decline of 3.6%). Revenue consists of the regasification tariff fixed part (for booked annual capacities) and variable part for amount of regasified LNG as well as and reloading tariffs. The preliminary revenue of the LNG terminal for 2018 comprised €64.5 million. This was 5.4% lower than the results from 2017 (€68.2 million).
Total preliminary sales revenue for the company in 2018 amounted to €100.0 million. This represents a decline of 6.1% from the revenue recorded in 2017 (€106.5 million).
