Sinopec preparing to resume purchases of US LNG

Reuters is reporting that Sinopec Corp. will resume purchasing US LNG cargoes as soon as it receives orders to from the Chinese government.
This news comes from Ma Yongsheng, President of Sinopec, and follows China and the US coming to terms on a deal reportedly aimed at rolling back US tariffs on approximately US$200 billion worth of Chinese goods. As the US reduces its tariffs, China will in return remove its own tariffs on US goods and pledge structural economic reform.
