Morocco prepares tender for LNG project

According to Reuters, Morocco is preparing a tender for a US$4.5 billion LNG project in Jorf Lasfar.

The announcement came from the Moroccan Energy Minister, Aziz Rabbah.

The project will reportedly include the importation of up to 7 billion m3 of gas by 2025, and require the construction of the following infrastructure: receiving jetty, terminal, pipelines and gas-fired power plants.
