EnerMech has been confirmed as the successful tenderer for the multi-million dollar specialist commissioning activities package.
Martin Bottolfsen, Area Manager, said: “Our experience on other LNG facilities in Australia and our high calibre of staff with strong credentials in nitrogen leak testing and chemical cleaning contracts, put us in a great position to win this subcontract.
“We’ve got more than 200 workers already on site and look forward to continuing our relationship with one of the most significant projects in Australia.”
The work will include nitrogen/helium leak testing of the piping systems, cooling water system passivation and degreasing of the acid gas removal units.
Bottolfsen added: “Having local suppliers nearby means we get local customer service and support and a fast turnaround on our orders. We also prefer to use local businesses for supplies wherever possible.
“It is great to know many local companies engaged on the Project have developed in terms of accreditation, standards and service which will position all of us well for future opportunities in the oil and gas industry.”
