The contract is for the provision of gas asset general maintenance services and brownfields offshore implementation for gas production facilities operated by Woodside in the north west of Western Australia. It is valued at approximately $600 million over a five-year period, and includes a further two one-year extension options. The contract includes maintenance, shutdown services and offshore brownfields implementation for Woodside’s Karratha Gas Plant, Pluto LNG, North Ranking Complex, Goodwyn A platform and Angel platform.
Rob Velletri, the Managing Director of Monadelphous, said: “We have a long history of delivering on our promises to customers, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety, and implementing innovative solutions that deliver continual improvements in productivity.
“It’s pleasing to see our work in these areas recognised by Woodside with the award of a new, expanded contract which includes a significant portion of their offshore gas production facilities in the north west of Western Australia, in addition to the onshore maintenance services we currently provide.”
Monadelphous and Woodside have worked together undertaking project activities since 2002. Since 2012, Monadelphous has been carrying out shutdown and maintenance services for both the Karratha Gas Plant and the Pluto LNG Plant.
