Andrew Seaton, the CFO of Santos, has announced his intention to retire from the company by the end of 2016. This will follow over 11 years of service at the company, the final six of which he served as CFO. Santos claims that it has already initiated the process of looking for a successor.

Kevin Gallagher, the Santos Managing Director and CEO, said: “Andrew has worked diligently to deliver on the company’s strategy and I would like to recognise his strong contribution over many years. His knowledge and insights over the last few months have been invaluable for the transition of Santos to a new operating model, and I thank him for his integrity, enthusiasm and commitment during this time.

“I look forward to continuing to work closely with Andrew over coming months, and wish him well for the next phase of his career.”

The company also recently announced that it will change its reporting currency from Australian dollars to US follows, commencing with the 2016 interim result.
