KBR awarded pre-FEED contract for phases 2 and 3 of Greater Tortue Ahmeyim project

KBR has released a statement claiming that BP has awarded KBR’s UK operating subsidiary the pre-FEED services contract for phases 2 and 3 of BP’s Greater Tortue Ahmeyim project, for the further development of the Tortue field beyond phase 1.

The field is located at the maritime border of Mauritania and Senegal. The next phases of the project will significantly expand capacity to deliver additional gas from an ultra deepwater subsea system, tied back to mid-water gas processing platforms. The gas will then be transferred to pre-treatment and offshore LNG facilities located at the established phase 1 hub.

JGC-Hyundai joint venture considered as EPC contractor for LNG project in Papua New Guinea

JGC Corp. and Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd have been selected as the EPC contractor for a major low carbon LNG plant as part of the Papua LNG project planned by TotalEnergies and its venture partners in Papua New Guinea.
