NV5 to upgrade BOG compression system at US peak-shaving facility

NV5 Global, Inc. has announced that it has secured a US$6.2 million contract to provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the upgrade of the boil-off gas (BOG) compression system at an LNG peak-shaving facility in Pennsylvania, US.

According to the statement, the upgrade will provide for better handling of plant operations, as well as increased BOG compression system reliability. The new system will incorporate 85 000 standard ft3 of existing flooded screw technology compressors and associated equipment, as well as integrate the current electrical and control system.
