According to the statement, during its time at Erhama Bin Jaber Al Jalahma Shipyard, the FSRU underwent standard dry-docking and repairs, as well as modifications and retrofitting of a number of new systems, including the installation of a ballast water treatment system (BWTS).
To date, N-KOM claims that it has completed seven BWTS installations for a number of different vessel types, including LNG carriers, LPG carriers, and very large crude carriers.
