Uniper claims floating LNG terminal can come online in 2023

This was revealed in a call between reporters and Sascha Bibert, Uniper CFO, discussing the company’s nine-month financial results. Bibert reportedly said that there is strong demand for the gas and interest from suppliers of seaborne gas into Germany.
According to Reuters, the German utility will facilitate the 10 billion m3 regasification project, while a number of potential partners are interested in either booking capacity or purchasing shares in a future terminal operator.
