King & Spalding advises MOL on participation in Indian LNG import project

The terminal will be capable of receiving 5 million tpy, and will use a dual floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) and floating storage unit (FSU) solution. The FSRU will have a tank capacity of 180 000 m3, whilst the FSU will have a tank capacity of between 135 000 and 145 000 m3.
MOL has reportedly agreed to provide the FSU, as well long-term operation/maintenance of both the FSU and the FSRU, which will be built by Hyundai Heavy Industries.
The Singapore-based team advising MOL is led by projects and energy partner Richard Nelson, and includes associates Kristian Whitaker, Christophe Vauthier and Ji Nin Loh.
