Calcasieu Pass LNG facility receives non-FTA export authorisation

The US DoE Office of Fossil Energy has issued the authorisation for Venture Global Calcasieu Pass LNG to export domestically produced LNG from its export facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, to non-free trade agreement countries.

 

Lithuania to ask Belarus to convert nuclear power plant to gas

According to Reuters, Saulius Skvernelis, the Lithuanian Prime Minister, is set to ask Belarus to convert its nuclear power plant to gas, which would be provided by Lithuania’s LNG terminal and a planned link between Lithuania and Poland.
