Daigas Gas and Power Solution have been awarded FEED and technical consulting service for the phase-4 expansion project of Taichung LNG receiving terminal in Taiwan.

The federal budget has confirmed the significant contribution of Australia’s oil and gas industry to the economy, as well as its role in the country’s cleaner energy future.

The terminal’s regasification capacity for this gas year is fully booked, partly in response to the rising uncertainty due to Russia’s attack on Ukraine.

With a 40% working interest in the area, the discovery is substantial for the company, outlining a positive outlook for the future of LNG in Namibia and South Africa.

Under the amended agreement, EOG will sell 420 000 million Btu per day of natural gas to Cheniere Energy’s subsidiary, CCL Stage III, for an extended term of 15 years.
