Woodside reports $720 million non-cash impairment

Woodside has announced that its financial statements for the full-year ended 31 December 2019 will recognise a non-cash impairment of $720 million (after tax) in relation to the Kitimat assets in Western Canada.

 

BC Ferries awards contract for LNG-fuelled vessel

BC Ferries has awarded Remontowa Shipbuilding S.A. of Gdansk, Poland, a contract to construct an additional LNG-fuelled vessel scheduled to go into service in the Southern Gulf Islands in 2022.

 
 

Poll shows British Columbians support LNG

A majority of British Columbians say they support the development of an LNG industry in B.C., according to polling by the Mustel Group (commissioned by the BC LNG Alliance).
