The station offers compressed biogas (CBG) and CNG as fuel for cars, delivery vehicles, waste management vehicles and buses. LNG is also available at the station for use in heavy-duty vehicles.
Gasum claims that it has been provided Connecting Europe Facility support to explore the opportunities to build a refueling station network for heavy-duty vehicles in particular, and the deployment and testing of four pilot stations. As well as this latest station, there are a number of LNG stations already operational, including in Vuosaari, Helsinki and near the Port of Turku. Gasum claims that the next LNG filling station is scheduled to be opened in Tuupakka, Vantaa, in September 2017.
