NASSCO christens new LNG-conversion-ready tanker

The vessel is 610 ft long, 50 000 DWT, LNG-conversion-ready, and achieves 33% increased fuel efficiency through several features, including a G-series MAN ME slow-speed main engine and an optimised hull form. It is part of an eight-tanker programme for two customers.
Debora Denning, the wife of Tom Denning – the SEACOR Vice President – christened the vessel with the traditional break of a champagne bottle on the side of the vessel.
