Terntank takes delivery of fourth LNG-powered tanker

Terntank has released a statement claiming that it has taken delivery of its fourth and final LNG-powered oil/chemical tanker, m/t Tern Ocean.

All four vessels are 15 000 DWT, and feature 5.850 kW Wärtsilä 5RT-flex 50 DF dual-fuel engines.

The vessel will load a cargo in the Far East, and then set sail for Europe. There, Terntank claims, it will enter a time charter.

In the statement, the company said: “We are grateful and like to thank the designer of the vessels Rolls-Royce and the shipyard Avic Dingheng for a good cooperation and good final result.”
