American Power Group has appointed Dustin Taylor as South Central US Regional Business Development Manager, for its natural gas dual-fuel product line.
Taylor will be based in Dallas and will be responsible for the development of APG's on-highway and off-road vehicular business within his region. He will be working with APG's WheelTime Network distribution partners and with various national and regional natural gas fueling suppliers in the region to grow the market for APG's Turbocharged Natural Gas® Dual Fuel Upgrade System.
Taylor has had significant experience and a progressive career in the Heavy-Duty Trucking industry. He was most recently a regional Truck Sales Manager for Navistar and managed a field sales team of 35 dealer sales professionals that developed marketing and sales strategies to aggressively grow market share within his assigned territory.
Lyle Jensen, APG Corporation's CEO stated: "We are excited to have Dustin join the APG Team to manage the development of our vehicular dual fuel business in the south central region. Anchor states like Texas and Oklahoma have the highest density of CNG and LNG fill stations in the United States with some of the most attractive diesel to natural gas price spreads in the country. We have converted several high-profile customers to dual fuel in the region and expect it to be an area of significant growth."
