Changfeng Energy Inc. – a natural gas utility in China – has released a statement claiming that the construction of the Sanya CNG/LNG station in Sanya City, Hainan Province, China, is now complete. Operations commenced at the station on 12 May 2016.
The refuelling station is designed to have a capacity of 30 000 m3/d, and largely provides gas for Sanya Public Transit Group’s public taxis and buses.
Changfeng commenced construction of the station in December 2015. At the time, the company claimed that it would be funded from internally generated cash flow and would cost approximately US$4.3 million.
