Noble Group signs first LNG term sales contract for Asia Pacific region

Noble Group Ltd has released a statement claiming that it has successfully signed a contract to supply LNG to a customer in the Asia Pacific region. This is Noble’s first term sales contract in the region, and is on a Deliver Ex Ship basis.
In January 2015, Noble delivered its first LNG cargo to the region through the Japanese market.
The cargoes, which will be sourced from Noble’s global supply portfolio, are scheduled for delivery by 2020.
The Global Head of Power, Gas and Carbon Trading, Noble Group – Gareth Griffiths – said: “This contract marks a significant development in Noble’s global LNG business, which has reached 2 million t in less than 18 months of operations. Asia Pacific is a key growth area for LNG, with its increasing demand for a reliable, clean source of fuel to power energy and industries as the middle class expands."
