CNOOC receives first LNG cargo from Yamal

According to Reuters, China National Offshore Oil Co. (CNOOC) has successfully received its first LNG cargo from the Yamal LNG project in Russia.

Reuters reports that the company received the cargo, which was purchased from Russia’s Novatek, on 11 November. It was offloaded at the Putian receiving terminal in Fujian.

According to Reuters, Novatek delivered the first ever LNG cargo to China via the Northern Sea Route in July earlier this year.
