PTT seeking up to two LNG cargoes

According to Reuters, PTT – the state-owned Thai energy company – is currently seeking one or two LNG cargoes for delivery over February to March.

Two industry sources with knowledge of the matter claim the company is seeking the cargoes on a delivered ex-ship (DES) basis for 20 February – 10 March.

According to Reuters, offers are due by 17 February, and valid until 24 February.

Energy Transfer LP is suspending development of the Lake Charles LNG project in order to focus on allocating capital to its significant backlog of natural gas pipeline infrastructure projects.
