Flogas Britain announces specialist team for LNG

Flogas Britain has announced that it has developed a specialised LNG team, which will be dedicated to offering UK businesses LNG solutions. Flogas is one of the first in Britain to supply LNG for industrial applications, and this team will see Flogas help serve the LNG market in the UK.

The new Flogas LNG team will be able to offer turnkey solutions for industrial and transport applications, and will be able to ensure a clean transition from oil by providing full project management. This will include system specification, design, installation and fuel supply.

The Head of LNG at Flogas, Rob McCord, said: “Flogas has been helping industrial customers cut costs and emissions for more than 30 years, so we’re delighted to be strengthening our portfolio with the introduction of LNG.

“We pride ourselves on being experts in energy, and with a wealth of experience in the sector, the new team is now providing tailored LNG solutions to help businesses reap the rewards of a more secure, efficient and economical fuel supply.

“We’re already seeing great demand, including signing a contract to supply 153 GW of energy annually to a major processing client. With the worldwide supply rate increasing, and such compelling financial and logistical benefits for end users, it’s clear that LNG has a very bright future in the UK – and the new Flogas team is looking forward to being at the heart of it.”
