PGNiG SA has announced that it is set to receive an LNG cargo today shipped to Swinoujscie by Centrica LNG Co. Ltd.

According to the statement, this will mark the third spot delivery to arrive at the President Lech Kaczynski Terminal this year. Overall, PGNiG claims that it has received 45 LNG cargoes so far, sourced from Qatar, Norway and the US.

The LNG cargo will come from the US and will be supplied by UK-based Centrica LNG Co. Ltd under a spot contract executed by the PGNiG trading office in London. It will be transported by the Hoegh Gallant vessel, which will arrive in Poland carrying approximately 65 000 t of LNG.

Piotr Wozniak, President of the Management Board PGNiG SA, said: “We are consistently building a portfolio of LNG contracts that is diversified not only in terms of supply directions, but also contract terms. Therefore, beside signing long-term and medium-term contracts, we are still interested in favourable offers on the spot market.”
