According to Reuters, the Chinese LNG provider, Guanghui Energy Co. Ltd, has stated that it will import LNG from the Malaysian government-owned company, Petronas.
The LNG will arrive at Guanghui’s terminal in Jiangsu province, China, with a planned capacity of 600 000 tpy once the first construction phase is complete. The terminal will eventually expand its total storage capacity to 3 million tpy.
Petronas will begin to supply LNG to Guanghui in 2017, although the size and price of the deal have not been announced.
