LNG Industry,
The terminal is located North East of Khalifa Bin Salman Port (KBSP). Construction will last up to February 2019, and will include construction of the breakwater, dredging activities and ground piling works for the LNG jetty and associated platform. During this period, marine transportation activities will also occur between KBSP and the Bahrain LNG terminal.
In the statement, Bahrain LNG has urged fishermen, sailors and mariners to proceed cautiously when transiting the area. The company claims they must pass more than 1000 m from the work area marker buoys on site, and that a safety/security vessel will guard the area and be listening to VHF Ch. 74.
