ESO invites bids for LNG regasification station installation in Lithuania

The contractor will be required to carry out the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works of the station. It will also have to handle the necessary infrastructure installation works.
According to the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania, the regasification facility is necessary to ensure a safe and reliable supply of gas to consumers in the Druskininkai municipality.
On 29 November 2016, ESO acquired the natural gas distribution system of the Druskininkai municipality. Since 1 November, when the former gas supplier ceased operations, the company has carried out gas supply activities.
