Total has released a statement claiming that it has signed a long-term agreement with Indonesia’s state-owned Pertamina for the supply of LNG. Under the agreement, Total will supply LNG in volumes increasing from 0.4 – 1 million tpy over a period of 15 years, starting in 2020. It will be supplied from Corpus Christi LNG, which is located in the US.
Laurent Vivier, the President Gas at Total, said: “These agreements allow the Group to further expand its longstanding cooperation with Pertamina and to enhance both companies’ LNG portfolios.”
“Strengthening our presence in Asia, in particular through innovative relationships with new LNG buyers, such as Pertamina, is an important part of our strategy.”
