CENTRAVIS pipes pass BV burst testing

CENTRAVIS has announced that it has recently passed an intense burst testing on its pipes by Bureau Veritas (BV). ESMA took part in the testing. The tests were carried out on three of its pipes:
- The CENTRAVIS 3/8 in. (9,5 mm) x 0.035 in. (0.89 mm) SS316/316L pipe, which is designed to work under a pressure of 3,596 PSI, was tested at a pressure of 14,384 PSI.
- The CENTRAVIS 3/8 in. (9,5 mm) x 0.065 in. (1.65 mm) SS316/316L pipe, with a working pressure of 6,685 PSI, was tested at 26,740 PSI.
- The CENTRAVIS 1/2 in. (12,7 mm) x 0.035 in. (0.89 mm) SS316/316L pipe, which works at 2,697 PSI, was tested at 10,788 PSI.
The Regional Sales Manager for the Middle East, Fedor Smirniy, said: “Successful product testing, when conducted by independent and influential companies, is an important signal to the market.
