LNG Industry,

During the recent Gastech conference in Singapore, Gaztransport & Technigaz (GTT) showcased its newest innovations and services for LNG storage, shipping and fuel.

The Mark V and NO96 Max systems designed to improve the boil-off rates were demonstrated by GTT, and received a positive response. The Mark V system is an optimised version of the Mark III system and its Mark III Flex evolution. It has received a third general approval from Bureau Veritas, which follows the initial two approvals that were granted by DNV-GL and Lloyd’s Register in September 2015. Alongside the Mark V and NO96 Max systems, the LNG Advisor system was well received.

Two in-principle approvals have also been received for GTT’s 4000 m3 bunkering vessel concept, which features Mark III membrane technology and will operate at a maximum gas pressure of up to 2 barg. These were both seen as positive contributions regarding the development of the LNG fuel market.

The Chairman and CEO of GTT – Philippe Berterottière – said: “We are very happy to have had this opportunity to present details of our latest advances in technology to our customers. The very productive discussions we have had with them have given us an even clearer understanding of the challenges and expectations of the LNG chain, which therefore helps us to focus our commitment to innovation so that we can deliver responses that are attractive not only operationally, but also financially.”
