ABS breaks ground on new headquarters

The new headquarters anchor the CityPlace 2 development, and will be located near the intersection of I-45 and the Grand Parkway in the Houston area, Texas, US.
The Chairman, President and CEO of ABS, Christopher J. Wiernicki, said: “This is an important milestone in our 155-year-young history and reaffirms our commitment to Houston.
“Working with our project partners, we have designed this building to create a collaborative environment that will facilitate communication and promote innovation in direct support of our safety-focused mission.”
The new 10-story building with cover 326 800 ft2, and will house employees from both ABS and its affiliated companies. It is scheduled for completion at the end of 2018.
During the ceremony, Wiernicki thanked the teams that helped develop the project over the last 18 months, including Cushman & Wakefield, Patrinely, Coventry and USAA.
