GTT receives order for the tank design of two LNG carriers

GTT has announced that it has received an order from a Korean shipyard concerning the tank design of two 174 000 m3 LNG carriers.

The order was reportedly received on behalf of a European shipowner. According to the statement, the delivery of the ships is scheduled for the first semester of 2021.

GTT claims that its membrane containment system Mark III Flex has been selected for the design of the tanks.

The names of the shipowner and shipyard are confidential.
